Ingredients

  • 400 g half peaches in syrup
  • 400 g natural tuna Drained well
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Préparation

  • Drain the peach halves thoroughly in syrup and place them on a plate or serving dish.
  • Drain the tuna au naturel, then flake it into a bowl.
  • Add the mayonnaise, lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt and pepper.
  • Mix until you have a creamy but not too runny filling.
  • Top each half peach with the tuna mixture.
  • Set aside in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

For a cooler version, add chives, capers, or a little lemon zest.
For a lighter version, replace some of the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt or cottage cheese.
Tuna peaches can be made a few hours in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Drain the peaches well to prevent them from releasing too much syrup on the plate.
