Algeria bookmark: the créponné, from lemon to cone
This bookmark illustrates the metamorphosis of lemon into créponné, a typical Algerian ice cream with a granita texture, a fresh and tangy taste. A memory of the long Mediterranean summer evenings.
Illustrated in Indian ink by Clémentine Leoni, in collaboration with Dumplings & More.
Offset printed on 350 g/m² recycled paper, in 21 × 4.5 cm format. Made in France by a Green-R (ID2103) and Imprim’Vert certified printer.
A classic Algerian granita sorbet, créponné is enjoyed in a cone to cool down on hot days by the Mediterranean. This bookmark traces its journey, from the freshly picked lemon to the ice-cream cone.
The collaboration between Clémentine Leoni and Dumplings & More has resulted in an illustration drawn in Indian ink, coloured with acrylics, and then scanned in high definition to preserve the texture and precision of the lines.
Printed in offset on 350 g/m² recycled paper (21 × 4.5 cm format), it is made in France by a printer with the Green-R label (ID2103) and Imprim’Vert.
A reading companion as practical as a small piece of art to slip between two pages.
